Terms of Service

Last updated September 4, 2026

These Terms govern your use of Sparrow — the Discord bot, its companion dashboard, and this website (together, the "Service"). By adding Sparrow to a server, signing into the dashboard, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you're adding Sparrow on behalf of a Discord server, you're agreeing on behalf of that server too, and confirming you have the authority to do so.

What Sparrow is

Sparrow is a support and community toolkit for Discord — tickets, applications, giveaways, reviews, and related features, configured through a web dashboard and delivered inside Discord itself. Sparrow only operates within Discord's own platform and is bound by Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. Nothing here overrides those.

Eligibility

You must meet Discord's own minimum age requirement to use Discord at all, and by extension to use Sparrow. If you're a server admin configuring Sparrow, you're responsible for making sure your use of it (required questions, giveaway rules, application forms, and so on) also follows Discord's policies and any laws that apply to your community.

Your responsibilities

You agree not to use Sparrow to:

  • Violate Discord's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, or Developer Policy
  • Collect information from members through tickets, applications, or giveaways for anything other than the stated purpose of that ticket, application, or giveaway
  • Run giveaways, applications, or ticket systems that are fraudulent, deceptive, or used to harvest personal information
  • Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse the Service (including the dashboard, its API, or the bot itself)
  • Impersonate Sparrow, its staff, or another server's use of Sparrow

Server admins configure the experience

Most of what Sparrow does — what questions a ticket panel asks, what a giveaway requires, who has staff access, what an embed says — is configured by each server's own admins through the dashboard. Sparrow doesn't review or approve that configuration. Server admins are responsible for the content and rules they set up, and for making sure their own staff's use of the dashboard follows these Terms.

Premium features

Sparrow may offer optional paid features in the future. If and when that launches, pricing, billing, and refund terms will be posted here and you'll be asked to agree to them separately before paying for anything. Nothing in the current Service requires payment.

Availability and changes

Sparrow is provided on an "as available" basis. We don't guarantee uninterrupted uptime, and features may be added, changed, or removed as the Service develops — Discord's own platform changes can also affect what Sparrow is able to do at any given time. We'll try to give notice of significant changes where practical, but can't promise advance notice in every case.

Termination

A server can remove Sparrow at any time by kicking the bot from that server. We can also remove Sparrow from a server, suspend dashboard access, or refuse service, if we reasonably believe a server or user is violating these Terms, Discord's own policies, or is using the Service in a way that's abusive or harmful to others.

No warranty

The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee that Sparrow will be error-free, secure against every possible issue, or fit for any particular purpose beyond what's described in our documentation.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sparrow and its operators aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service — including lost data, lost giveaway prizes, or lost server activity — beyond what's required by applicable law.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Sparrow changes. If we make a material change, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Sparrow after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
