Temporary Roles
Set how long a role should last and Sparrow removes it when the time is up. It works however the member gets the role: by command, from a Reaction Roles panel, or given by a staff member in Discord.
Setting it up
- Open Temporary Roles in the dashboard and press + Add a temporary role.
- Pick a role and how long it should last, from 5 minutes up to 90 days.
- Optionally, choose a Log channel. Sparrow posts there when the role is given, expires or is removed early.
That role is now removed after its duration wherever it's given. You don't need to set it up again on a Reaction Roles panel or anywhere else.
Ways to give the role

Commands

All three need the Manage Roles Discord permission, the same one needed to give any role by hand.
Turning a role off
Each role has its own switch on the Temporary Roles page. There's no switch for the whole module. Turning one off keeps its duration for later. The role stops being temporary until you turn it back on, or give it again with /temprole grant and a duration.
If the role is lost early
Removing the role any other way cancels its timer. That includes /temprole remove, un-picking it on a Reaction Roles panel, picking another Exclusive option, or a staff member removing it by hand.
Log channel
If you've set one, Sparrow posts who got the role, when, and a countdown to when it expires. The same message is updated when the role expires, is ended early or is removed before its time is up. Sparrow doesn't post a new message each time.
Free servers & Premium
Free servers can have up to 3 temporary roles. Premium has no limit.
