Giveaways
A giveaway is a message with a Participate button. Members click it to enter. When it ends, Sparrow picks the winners at random, with bonus entries counted.
Creating a giveaway
From Giveaways → Create Giveaway, set a prize, a channel and when it ends, as a duration or an exact date and time, or once enough people (or entries) are in. You can set required roles (all of them, or any one, and whether members are told which), blocked and bypass roles, a minimum account age, a minimum time in the server and a log channel for this giveaway, or leave them blank to use your Giveaway Settings. To start faster, pick one of the Giveaway Templates, or save your own setup with Save as Template and reuse it next time.
Entries and bonus roles
Anyone allowed to enter can join with one click. Multiplier Roles (set in Giveaway Settings) give members extra entries. If a member has more than one, only the highest bonus counts. Turn on Stack Role Bonuses to add them all together, for the whole server or for one giveaway.
Giveaways also have a Vote Sparrow button. A member who votes for Sparrow on top.gg gets their entries doubled in every running giveaway that has it, including ones they enter in the 12 hours after voting. Hiding the button, or turning vote perks off for the whole server in Server Settings, needs Premium.
Ending, cancelling, and rerolling
A giveaway ends by itself when its time is up. You can also end it early or cancel it from its page. A cancelled giveaway has no winners. After it ends, you can reroll any single winner. The new winner is picked from everyone who entered except the current winners.
Viewing participants
Each giveaway's page lists everyone who entered and how many entries they have. There's no limit, unlike the Participants button in Discord, which shows 40.
